About 20 years ago, SFPWorx started as SimNet’s brand product line of 3rd Party Compatible Optics.
It all started with the idea or reality that all businesses have to cut costs and remain with no budgets.
We at SFPWorx focus on the supply and support of high-speed interconnects, cables & third-party optical transceivers, which are required when businesses purchase networking gear, with a primary focus of saving them as our customers – money when they are buying these items.

Our methodology has been simple from the beginning – we focus on compatibility and quality and all that it entails.

Mark Simpson
Director and Founder of SFP Worx Brand of Optics.
Mark Simpson as an engineer by heart, is passionate about business and all types of Network Technology; however, he does have a great interest in the optical Networking space, which sparked the idea of getting SFPWorx off the ground.
Mark has been in the Networking Infrastructure field for the last 25 years in multiple roles, from being in the technical space to being in pre-sales and sales; he later started his business, SimNet.
Simnet provides evaluation optics to check its functionality and performance in your network for a specified time; if you are happy with the optics, you can then arrange to purchase them at the end of the evaluation period.
SimNet focuses on service excellence and adds value to our clients and their end-users in terms of quality products, competitive pricing, fast delivery and sizeable local stock holding.
SimNet has a Global Network of suppliers to leverage to try and source that hard to get Networking component or pluggable optic. The average turnaround time for these emergencies is around 5 Working days.
